Sunsets and a birthday

A very Happy Birthday today for Roxanne over at The Good Luck Duck. A lady doesn't tell another lady's age so I'll just say, whew, that age makes me a little sweaty. But in a good way!

Every time there's a spectacular sunset I say WOW, BEST EVER! And then the next one comes along and slaps me upside my bliss. Here are some slaps for your bliss, too, courtesy of last night.

  1. Happy Birthday to Roxi!!

I love the sunsets in this part of the country. I can take 20 photos over a period of 30 minutes and they look like different evenings. As the sun goes down and the clouds move, the colors change and each photo is better than the next. Thanks - I'm in a forest now and can't see the sun set, so I especially enjoyed these. :)

    1. I've never seen sunsets like the ones we get in the southwest. Just amazing.

I'll be looking forward to your next post to see where you are now!

  2. Luv, Luv, Luv, Sunsets.....I would love sunrises more if I just didn't like to roust out of bed slowly in the morning. Can never have to many sunset pics so I will be glad to enjoy yours too!

    1. I'd love to skip the occasional sunrise to sleep in but Jake has other ideas.

I agree, never too many sunset pics!

  4. WOW is not adequate for those sunsets. Right in your backyard too. Pretty amazing. Mighty lucky you and of course Jake whom I sure also appreciates them. Sounds like you and the Rox are the same sign. "Sweaty in a good way"...........LOL, you are too funny!

    2. Yes, mighty lucky! Jake was looking, too, I wonder how much he sees.

Reckon there was any stubbornness in our two-Taurus house? :)

    1. Often the sunsets here remind me of the stellar sunsets you capture in Mexico but you get the added bonus of seeing them over the ocean.

  8. Nature has no equal for creating color and drama - wow! So many of us great folks born in May - although we Geminis are much less stubborn :-)))))))))
