More when I'm back in NM (in Flagstaff for the moment) but I won't make you all wait any longer for a bit of reveal. You've all been very patient but I can feel your hackles starting to rise. I didn't expect to hold this secret so long but I've been super busy; apologies for making you wait. Now we can all relax, or at least you can, I've got a ton of driving to do. :)
1990 Aero Cruiser, all of 23' long!
Happy now? I am! :) And I made new friends in the process!
Kyle, Julia, and Ender |
Luckily for me, these terrific folks who live and work on the road decided that 23' was too big for them. They're off in search of the perfect truck camper and I have every confidence they'll find it. It was really great meeting them and I hope our paths cross again someday. I may be old enough to be their mom (*gasp choke*) but they feel like kindred spirits.
More later!
Nice! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I agree! :)
DeleteYAY! I can stop keeping your dirty little secret now!
ReplyDeleteDid it hurt? :)
DeleteA little!
DeleteThat's 23'? It looks huge! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI know, it looks really big in the pictures. I kept looking at the ad thinking "is that a typo?" Nope, it really is 23'.
DeleteThanks!
That's not a hint, that's the REVEAL! I'm with Jeanne, in the photos it looks huge. I can't wait to see it in person. Looks really nice inside and out. Congratulations! Have you taken possession? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's in near perfect condition. Yes, it's all mine. I slept in it last night and love love love the cozy rear bed. I nearly froze to death but that was me underestimating what Flagstaff could still do at night.
DeleteSo, where does the litter box go? That is one of the first things I look for now when I go 'window' rv shopping.
ReplyDeleteDetails schmetails. :) There are 2 passenger seats and one of them will go away to make more room.
DeleteYiiipppeee!! Really like it....happy for you and the kids !!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! Jake's not too sure about it yet but he'll come around. :) The cats haven't a clue things are about to change.
DeleteLove all the windows!
ReplyDeleteI do, too! I don't think I've ever been in a rig with this much light.
DeleteYou had me at "honkin'!"
ReplyDeleteWOW, congrats, Annie! They got a LOT of "accoutremah" in a 23'! I know how much I love my rear bed, and I know you will too!
LOL!
DeleteThanks! They did manage to squeeze in a lot of yummy. Even freezing half to death on my first night, I still loved the feeling and coziness of the rear bed.
Sweet ride! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteNina
Thanks Nina!
DeleteAww! Congratulations. It's as cute as a bugs ear!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristine! Yes, I agree!
DeleteI like it! I like it!! Your little tribe will love it too once you are able to give them their own little spaces...or in the case of kitties....they find their little spaces.
ReplyDeleteI think the cats will like it a lot, practically every surface has a view to the outside.
DeleteI KNEW IT!!! ; ) Congrats... I am going to downsize from a 36' to a... something... lol... Did you sell the old one or are you selling it? I definitely want smaller also... I want to squeeze into little sweet spots like RV Sue...
ReplyDeleteThanks! Good luck in your search. I will be selling the old one after first doing a lot of clearing and cleaning out.
DeleteOh... And... The cats are going to do the weird, freaked out thing when you stick them in there... Make sure you get some photos...
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the "little short rolling home" tribe! U-turns and gas stations will be so much easier now! Love your floorplan & windows, and how cool that you even have a driver's door too! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just got back to NM and love my new home even more now. Getting gas is SO EASY.
DeleteYAY! that's the first thing I found out too gas is a piece of cake now lol
DeleteCongratulations! You're going to love the freedom that a little RV gives you.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I do already!
DeleteIt's absolutely perfect! Just what I would want if I were out there. All those windows--Wow! Really, really nice!!!! Congrats! Grace (in Tucson)
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace! I think it's perfect, too. :)
DeleteCongrats!!!!!! I had a feeling "big news" was a smaller rig. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve. You know, it's funny, you and I are both from Indiana, have birthdays a day apart and both just made big rig decisions.
DeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteSo excited to see what you do with the Ship! And so glad to pass her on to you. We are definitely kindred spirits :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kyle, great to see you here! Just finished the drive from Flagstaff to Truth or Consequences. It was smooth sailing in the Ship!
DeleteOooooh! Well-done!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've only been gone for the afternoon and tons of people are before me in saying
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful
It's Gorgeous
It's perfect
It's terrific
I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, cousin, I saw it first! :)
DeleteThere is a lot to be said about coziness. I had several Volkswagon Camper vans years ago & loved them. Small can really work well when there is just one person. You will totally love your new manueverability
ReplyDeleteThanks Al, I think you're right. I'm already loving how it handled on the trip here.
DeleteNice very Nice indeed. Hope you have much luck with it and enjoy all those windows lots of view to be seen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo!
DeleteSweet! And you still have lots of windows with less feet.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in Flag next week if you're still around.
Dang, missed you again. I left Flag yesterday. One of these days we'll get to hang out again!
DeleteNow that is one sweet looking house, about perfect for you, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThank George!
DeleteWe travel in our 12 foot 1954 Bellwood trailer that we completely restored and absolutely love it! I will NEVER go back to a big 5th wheel etc. again.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how easy it is to get around, isn't it. I love being small!
DeleteI know you love it, but what about the fur kids? Have they approved?
ReplyDeleteJake's the only one who's been in it yet but I think the cats will like it with so many perches and views.
DeleteUmmmmm...lots of windows to catch those delicous cross breezes! Nice, just so nice. My cats approve 100%, and I definately do, too. Good thing the motorhome you previously wanted so bad didn't work out, and now you finally know why it didn't! I'll do a happy dance just for you! It's truly awesome.
ReplyDelete~Pam in Louisiana~
Thanks Pam! I'm glad the other one didn't work out, too!
DeleteCongrats!! Will be easier to take on adventures too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cyn! Yes, it certainly will.
